Shinjuku

In Shinjuku, one of the biggest shopping and amusement districts in Japan, you can find items of every kind including top brand-name items and trendy clothing.
The Odakyu Line takes you from Shinjuku to Hakone, one of Japan’s most famous hot spring resorts, and Enoshima/Kamakura, rural districts with historical temples, forests, and beaches.

Kamakura was the capital of the first Shogunate govemment in Japan in the 12th Century. You can see various shrine and temples dating from that era. It's a wonderful opportunity to stroll through the ancient capital of Japan that is rich in history.

Natural scenery can be enjoyed all year round at such places as Lake Ashi with its famous reflection of Mt. Fuji, the volcanic activity of Owakudani, the Cedar Avenue of the old Tokaido Highway, the site of Hakone Checkpoint, as well as hot springs.

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan with beautiful, attractive apperances in each season. The foot of Fuji is a popular resort with beautiful lakes, many caves made by eruptions and enjoyable recreation facilities. Fuji 5 Lakes consist of Lake Kawaguchiko, Lake Yamanakako, Lake Saiko, Lake Motosuko and Lake Shojiko.
