Ltd. Exp. Romancecar

“Romancecar” is Odakyu’s foremost limited express train, offering the fastest link between the Odakyu Line terminal in Tokyo (Shinjuku) and a variety of appealing sightseeing spots. “Romancecar” travels to many of the most popular sightseeing spots close to Tokyo: Hakone-Yumoto, one of Japan’s best-known hot spring (onsen) areas; Katase-Enoshima, with its beaches on the Pacific Ocean; Gotemba, gateway to Mount Fuji; and Numazu, famous for its abundant seafood. For travelers’ comfort and enjoyment, all seats on the “Romancecar” are reserved. When reserving, travelers can request a window seat or an observation deck seat.

Fares & Surcharges

Passengers taking the Limited Express "Romancecar" must pay a limited express surcharge in addition to the normal fare.

Please always ensure that limited express tickets are purchased prior to boarding the train. In the case that limited express tickets are not purchased, a 300-yen charge (1,200 yen in the case of the saloon car) will be added to the cost of the ticket. (Seats are not designated.)

With the Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass (from/to Shinjuku), payment of the normal fare is not required. This pass includes the normal fare.
  For Table C only:
Add 200 yen to this fare for peak season travel. Deduct 200 yen from this fare for off-season travel.
