Odakyu Limited Express "Romancecar"

"Romancecar" is Odakyu's limited express train; all seats must be reserved. It links Shinjuku with the popular holiday spots of Hakone, Enoshima and Kamakura. This area is a favorite of Japanese and foreign tourists, and during the ride, you will see some of the very best Japanese scenery. The panorama of Katase-Enoshima that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, the seasonally changing countryside and mountains, and on clear days, the majestic Mt. Fuji. If you really want an even more memorable journey, then reserve an observation deck seat in the front or back car of the Type 50000 or 7000 Romancecar and enjoy the very best view of the countryside.

How to take the Limited Express "Romancecar"

You need to buy a normal fare + limited express surcharge to take the Odakyu Limited Express "Romancecar".

Make sure to buy your limited express ticket before boarding. Otherwise you will need to pay an extra fare of 300 yen (1,200 yen for a saloon car), and no specific seat will be reserved for you.
