This seventh model in the new Romancecar series, called the VSE (Vault Super Express), incorporates various technologies to improve riding comfort. For example, the cars' domed-shaped ceilings with a height of 2.55 meters (45 centimeters higher compared to the Type 10000 Romancecar), together with observation deck seats for great views of the passing scenery and super-wide windows for uninterrupted vistas of the dynamic sights, offer passengers a pleasant ride.

The cars' livery is a gently shining silky white accented with a band of vermillion and orange, carrying over the signature Romancecar colors. The band, positioned high up under the car windows, gives the cars a dynamic feel and just the right touch of excitement.

Car No. 3 has three saloon compartments seating a total of 12 passengers.
