Differences between Odakyu Limited Express "Romancecar" and Express Train
Odakyu Limited Express "Romancecar" is a reserved seat-only train that takes just 85 minutes from Shinjuku Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station. The Express Train takes 2 hours and seats cannot be reserved. Express fare is included in the Freepass, but an extra 890 yen (one way) fare is required to ride the "Romancecar".
How can I reserve an observation deck seats on Odakyu Limited Express "Romancecar"?
Please reserve and purchase "Romancecar" Limited Express tickets at the "e-Romancecar" website. You can buy tickets of up to 8 persons at e-Romancecar. You are welcome to use credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB). For inquiries, please contact us at email@example.com.
Reservations and purchase of tickets after arriving in Japan can be made at Odakyu Sightseeing Service Centers, railway stations of Odakyu Line, travel agencies, etc.

Which tickets do I need to board the "Romancecar"?
To board the "Romancecar", you will need a Limited Express Ticket (seat reservation) and a ticket to your destination (including the Freepass), or an IC Card (PASMO or Suica).
