Enjoy All the Fun at Hakone Kowakien Yunessun – A Unique Hot Spring Amusement Park in Japan!

Rain or shine, summer or winter—Yunessun is a hot spring amusement park in Hakone that you can enjoy year-round! With both swimsuit-friendly spa zones and traditional hot spring baths, it’s a perfect destination for families, couples, and friends.

The spacious spa areas, both indoors and out, include waterslides, a lazy river, and quirky themed baths like the wine bath and green tea bath. There’s even a breathtaking open-air bath with panoramic views of the Hakone mountains. Attractions abound for guests of all ages!

Just Opened! “Rocky’s Splash” – A Thrilling Waterslide Experience with Rainbows & Mountain Views

In spring 2025, Yunessun welcomed its newest attraction: “Rocky’s Splash,” a thrilling waterslide offering two totally different sliding experiences.

The Boshat Line is an open-air slide that lets you take in sweeping views of the Hakone mountains as you twist and turn through exciting 360° curves. You’ll feel the rush of the wind as you descend—an exhilarating ride from start to finish!

The Colorful Line is a closed-tube slide that features a special design allowing natural light to enter the tunnel and create dazzling rings of rainbow-colored light along the slide. As you plunge into the darkness, these brilliant patterns swirl around you, making it feel like you’re warping through space and time.

Both slides use warm water, so they’re open year-round. The gentle run-out landing makes them safe and fun for children (minimum height: 105 cm). A thrilling experience for both kids and adults—don’t miss your chance to try this brand-new waterslide!

Boshat Line - Soar through the air on this open slide with panoramic views of Hakone’s mountains.

Colorful Line - Glide through a tunnel of rainbow light in this dazzling enclosed slide.
