Hakone Area
Hakone is dotted with excellent hot springs and spots with a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy the beauty of the mountain in various ways: on the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise, across Lake Ashi; suspended in the air on the Hakone Ropeway; and in a hot spring bath. Among the other tourist spots, you will find historic remains, such as an ancient checkpoint and stone pavements on an old road; several unique museums, such as the Hakone Open-Air Museum; and changing natural landscapes of Hakone as the seasons go by.
