©伊東市観光課

From Izu-Kogen Station, take the Tokai Bus to Ito Station, then transfer to the Shaboten Zoo-bound Tokai Bus and get off at the Ippekiko bus stop.
Lake Ippekiko is a stunning volcanic lake formed approximately 100,000 years ago by a volcanic eruption. Spanning about 4 kilometers in circumference, its surface reflects the sky and the surrounding mountains, creating a beautifully azure scene often referred to as the "Eye of Izu." Particularly striking is the autumn foliage season, when crimson-colored trees adorn the lake, but the scenery shaped by nature across all four seasons is truly remarkable.

Lakeside Relaxation With Water Activities at TERRACE CAFÉ IPPEKIKO

Take a break at the lakeside TERRACE CAFÉ IPPEKIKO, where you can savor freshly brewed coffee and the specialty Ippekiko Soft (mixed flavor ice cream). The outdoor deck terrace offers a comfortable atmosphere, while the indoor area is a cozy book cafe.

Recharge as you take in the serene lake views together with the menu options. Boat rentals are also available, with new low-effort pedal boats introduced in April 2024, perfect for leisurely lake exploration.
