Shinjuku, is the busiest station in the world and the hub of the transportation system in Tokyo. About 3,460,000 people get on and off trains at the station every day. Besides great convenience, with direct access to Haneda and Narita Airports in just 30 to 90 minutes by bus or train, Shinjuku is recognized as the Tokyo’s funnest and most fascinating destination for overseas tourists. Key to its popularity is Shinjuku Terrace City, a large commercial area developed by the Odakyu Group (connected directly to the station building, from the West Exit to the South Exit). Nearby are popular draws such as Shinjuku Mylord (a fashionable costume store building), Bic Camera in Odakyu HALC (a mass retailer of home electric appliances), Hotel Century Southern Tower (located just three minutes from the station by foot), and many others.
