Shinjuku Southern Terrace
Shinjuku Southern Terrace is a lush green area located just outside the south exit of Shinjuku Station, one of Tokyo's main terminals and the station with the largest number of passengers in the world. The area is always bustling with activity and is dotted with a wide variety of restaurants, including bakeries; cafes; Japanese, Italian, and Hong Kong restaurants; and various merchandise stores, furniture stores, and more! During the winter season, Shinjuku Southern Terrace offers a great night view of the Shinjuku area, and is also illuminated with a beautiful light show.
A three-minute walk south of Shinjuku Southern Terrace toward JR Yoyogi Station brings you to Odakyu Southern Tower, which includes Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower. The Tower houses offices, stores, and the hotel. In the lower section of the tower, there are Thai and Vietnamese restaurants, hamburger restaurants, Japanese steak and sukiyaki cuisine, and convenience stores. Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku (HALC)
Odakyu Department Store is a massive department store connected directly to Shinjuku Station selling foods, cosmetics, and international brand items. There is a wide selection of over 47 famous domestic and international cosmetic brands, and the food section, accessories, and luxury brands are all located close together, making Odakyu Department Store an easy space to shop in.
